Medi-Cal Data
Medi-Cal is a way for individuals and families with low income to access needed health care services. Medi-Cal is California’s public health insurance. Participants in CalWORKs and Foster Care are automatically eligible for Medi-Cal. The County of Ventura aims to improve access to health care and insurance for residents. If your income is too high to qualify for Medi-Cal, affordable insurance plans are offered through Covered California and you may qualify for tax credits to lower the cost of your insurance premium.
