Changes to the ATM Surcharge-Free Network for CalWORKs Benefits
The EBT Surcharge Free Network changed back in July 2018. MoneyPass is no longer part of the surcharge-free network, and Bank of America (BofA) ATMs are surcharged.
EBT cardholders may register on the EBT cardholder Portal to view services.
Find surcharge-free ATM locations and stores near you by clicking “Locate” at www.ebt.ca.gov, or the EBT Locator web page to find surcharge-free ATM locations, farmers markets and other stores and locations that accept EBT.
View an updated list of EBT surcharge-free Automated Teller Machines (ATMs).
Beware! There is an EBT scam to steal your benefits! If you’ve received a text or phone call asking for your personal information, contact your county right away. Your county and the state will never text or call you requesting your personal information such as your EBT card number and your personal identification number (PIN).
Never give your EBT Card number and PIN to anyone. With this information, someone could steal your benefits.
Always keep your PIN and EBT Card number safe and secret.
