Program to Encourage Active, Rewarding Lives (PEARLS)

The Ventura County Area Agency on Aging (VCAAA), in partnership with Ventura County Behavioral Health, offers a no-cost, high quality care and community-based program called PEARLS, the Program to Encourage Active, Rewarding Lives.

If you are 60 years and older and have lost interest in day to day activities or have been feeling sad or lonely, this program is available to help. The PEARLs program teaches skills to manage feelings of loneliness, sadness, frustration, irritability and anxiousness, and improve quality of life.

La Agencia para el Envejecimiento del Área del Condado de Ventura (VCAAA), en asociación con Salud del Comportamiento del Condado de Ventura, ofrece un programa comunitario de atención de alta calidad sin costo llamado PEARLS, el Programa para fomentar vidas activas y gratificantes.

Si tiene 60 años o más y ha perdido interés en las actividades cotidianas o se ha sentido triste o solo, este programa está disponible para ayudarlo. El programa PEARLs enseña habilidades para manejar los sentimientos de soledad, tristeza, frustración, irritabilidad y ansiedad, y mejorar la calidad de vida.
