Fire Protection District Board of Appeals
The Fire Protection District Board of Appeals is comprised of 5 members appointed by the Fire Protection District Board of Directors.
The Board of Appeals hears cases based on a claim that the intent of the Ventura County Fire Code or the rules legally adopted hereunder have been incorrectly interpreted, the provisions of the Code do not fully apply, or an equivalent method of protection or safety is proposed with exception of the provisions dealing with the abatement of combustible and flammable materials as established by Ventura County Fire Protection District Ordinance Number 31.
