The core purpose of the Ventura County Department of Child Support Services is to help families thrive. We are committed to achieving this goal by supporting fathers in playing a more significant role in their children’s lives. Studies suggest that children are more likely to have positive outcomes when fathers play an active role; however, fathers may have obstacles that prevent them from being involved. Our goal through this series is to provide fathers with information that may assist in dismantling some of those barriers. We genuinely hope that the information shared in this series proves to be beneficial to you.
