Behavioral Health Services
The Ventura County Behavioral Health Department (VCBH) provides mental health and substance use treatment services. VCBH plays an important role as an integrated component of the Ventura County Health Care Agency. The Crisis and Referral Line (1-866-998-2243) is the entry point for access to all Ventura County Behavioral Health Services. Individuals needing health services or who are experiencing a mental health crisis should call this number. Behavioral Health Service professionals are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They provide support for individuals and families who are in crisis; people considering suicide; or those struggling with mental illness, substance use, or both.

211 & Emergency Response
Interface 211 Ventura County (211VC), a program of Interface Children & Family Services, is the most comprehensive information and referral service for local residents. Each year, 211VC responds to more than 25,000 Ventura County callers, providing local communities with information and resources related to shelter, health care, food, utilities, mental health, legal, consumer and public safety, disaster/emergency services, transportation, and more.
Available by phone, text, and web 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, Interface 211VC delivers health and social service support to individuals in over 300 languages through phone interpretation services.
