Join us for the inaugural Fatherhood Summit, a collaborative effort between First 5 Ventura County, Ventura County Department of Child Support Services, Hope & Comfort, and El Rio School District. This free event is on Saturday, June 1, 2024, from 1:30 pm to 6 pm at Rio Del Valle School, located at 3100 N Rose Ave, Oxnard, for a day dedicated to helping fathers and father figures be the best they can be.

We look forward to spending a day with fathers and father figures in our community, giving them an opportunity to attend fatherhood workshops, explore employment opportunities, and learn about the resources in our county. Free childcare and dinner will be provided to ensure all fathers can participate. Whether you’re interested in the workshops, job fair, resources, or simply networking, all are welcome. However, we highly encourage you to join us for the entire event.

Please feel free to contact Jose Olarte (Ventura County Department of Child Support Services) at 805-795-3197 or Mario Rodriguez (First 5 Ventura County) at 805-561-8877 for more information.
